Savelentario, located at Keizersgracht 482, 1017 EG Amsterdam, the Netherlands (hereinafter "we", "us" or "our"), attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. In this privacy policy, we explain what data we collect, why we do this, and how we safeguard your rights in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch GDPR Implementation Act (UAVG).
1. What data do we collect?
We collect the following personal data when you use our contact form or newsletter registration:
• Name: to address you personally. • Email address: to send you our newsletter and respond to your messages. • Message: the content of your message to us.
In addition, we automatically collect the following technical data:
• IP address (anonymised) • Browser type and version • Pages visited and time of visit • Referring website
This technical data is only collected when you have given your consent via our cookie banner (see our Cookie Policy).
2. Legal basis and purposes
We process your personal data on the basis of the following legal grounds:
• Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR): for sending our newsletter and placing analytical and marketing cookies. • Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): for improving our website and analysing website usage, insofar as this does not disproportionately infringe on your privacy rights.
Your data is used for the following purposes:
• Answering your questions and messages. • Sending the weekly Eco-newsletter. • Improving our website and services. • Analysing website traffic (with your consent).
3. Retention periods
We do not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary for the purposes for which they were collected:
• Contact form data: maximum 12 months after the last contact. • Newsletter subscriptions: until the moment of unsubscription, plus a run-off period of 30 days. • Technical log data: maximum 26 months (in accordance with the standard retention period of Google Analytics 4).
4. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
• Right of access: you can request which data we process about you. • Right to rectification: you can have incorrect data corrected. • Right to erasure: you can request the deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”). • Right to restriction of processing: you can have the processing of your data restricted. • Right to data portability: you can receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. • Right to object: you can object to the processing of your data. • Right to withdraw consent: you can withdraw previously given consent at any time.

5. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption for all data transfers. Access to personal data is limited to employees who need it for the performance of their duties.
6. Transfer to third parties
We do not share your personal data with third parties unless this is necessary for the provision of our services or we are legally obliged to do so. When we use third-party services (such as Google Analytics), we conclude data processing agreements and ensure that your data is adequately protected, including when transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy. Changes will be published on this page. In the event of significant changes, we will actively inform you via our newsletter or a notification on the website. We recommend that you consult this policy regularly.
